I placed the form in my drawer intending to look up the receipt,

myself when I had time.

In connection with the foregoing I may mention that

it is no unusual thing (with large offices) for these Enquiry

Forms to remain unanswered for months.

The Receipts in question were delivered to the F.

he handed them to Mr. Abbas to paste in. I had previously handed.

14 to Mr.Abbas and I saw that they were pasted in, as regards

the 4 slips mentioned by the P.M.G. I was not, aware that they

had ever reached our Office; Nor had I any means of knowing.

I arrived at the office a few minutes before 9 a.m.

on the day in question and left at 5 p.m. during that time I

saw the P.M.G. on business repeatedly and had I been, as he

states I was, I consider that it would have been only just

and fair for him to have said so at the time. I deny the charge.

I deny this and can prove by the Journals that on

more than one occasion I have done the work of three men;

when occasion required and that this occurred during the pre-

sent P.M.G.'s term of service:- in fact little more than two

months ago:- as regards the lack of command that all depends

on the meaning of the word Command. Whatever orders I have

to give I give them quietly and politely. I have never bullied

any
